Make Be-Leaves worked closely with interior design firm, HBA – to replicate their image of a real green wall with an artificial greenery version. The large lobby focal wall included decorative vertical metal panels, with the faux greenery designed to organically intertwine throughout the wall. Final selection of styles of artificial plants were approved by the interior designer, to closely resemble the living green wall.
To facilitate this challenge, Turn 2 Construction attached a plywood base, providing flexibility of design for placement of the artificial plants during installation.
The end result is a spectacular focal wall in the newly renovated Westin LAX hotel.
