PECHANGA CASINO Sheri Valezquez, an interior designer at Cleo’s Design in Las Vegas, contacted Make Be-Leaves regarding artificial plants and the custom plantscaping at the Pechanga new hotel tower. Pechanga Resort & Casino is now California’s largest casino hotel, with this $285 million expansion. The lobby is truly stunning, including a multi-story high wall feature of glass birds in flight, with Make Be-Leaves’ custom artificial plantscaping bringing the critical finishing touch to the living space. A mix of realistic-looking silk Agaves and artificial River Grasses, planted in tiered built-in planters created a contemporary, elegant greenery. Decorative river rocks with mixed hues of brown, beige and grey were used as the top planter fill– accenting the grey/taupe custom built-in planters. In the pre-function areas, faux Sansevierias, tall, slender silk onion grasses, and artificial river grasses with purple allium flower stems flanked the corridors.
