Hand-planted Faux Mixed Succulent Walls
The custom mixed mosses that Make Be-Leaves installed on the 75 ft. L x 14 ft. Tall geometric-stone covered wall of Cleo’s Restaurant, SLS Resort, Bahamas was such a success – that the interior designer, Gulla Jonsdittor, loved the idea of adding mixed succulents to a green backdrop. So, Make Be-Leaves returned to install a variety of life-like looking faux succulents – painstakingly drilling & gluing each succulent stem into the existing wall. Working through the nights – since the restaurant has been open since mid-November, Make Be-Leaves’ installer worked closely with hotel staff workers to complete the installation in record time. The added artificial succulents create a three-dimensional, realistic green wall, with the mixed echeverias & other succulents ͞popping͟ through the geometric-shaped stones. The final design has a more dramatic impact on the focal restaurant wall.
Interior designer, Gulla Jonsdittor’s remark of the completed wall was “absolutely gorgeous!”
