Large-scale Faux Japanese Maple Trees
Make Be-Leaves worked closely with the interior designer, Dorothy Willetts, owner of Willetts Design Group in Indio, CA, to create two custom large-scale faux Japanese Maple Trees for an expansive, 40,000 sq. ft. residence in Indio, Ca.
Our custom artificial trees have always been our signature line: constructed on multi-wood trunks, artistically potted to create the critical framework of the tree, and then working from top to bottom, foliage is strategically secured into the trunks to create beautiful, natural-looking trees. Dorothy provided images of live Japanese Maple Tree as a reference for her vision for these focal trees.
The two 12 ft. tall artificial Japanese Maple Trees were designed to have light, tiered levels of foliage – well balanced & life-like, with grey river rock top fill for the custom 4 ft. diameter planters. These trees flanked the corners of the expansive kitchen area – with a spectacular view of the large infinity pool, overlooking the lake.
