Huge Custom Faux Olive Tree For Sirocco Restaurant, Dania Point, FL.
SIROCCO Restaurant – Dania Beach, Florida
Make Be-Leaves enjoyed working with creative director & owner Batoul Darwiche in 2019, constructing a large-scale artificial Mediterranean Olive Tree for the Sirocco Restaurant in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Batoul again contacted Make Be-Leaves recently to design an even more magnificent size faux Mediterranean Olive Tree for the newest Sirocco Restaurant, opening soon in Dania Beach, FL.
Her vision was to build a dramatic focal piece in the large bar area that would be “the talk of the town.” This immense artificial Mediterranean Olive tree is the largest diameter tree we have ever constructed in 40 years! Following detailed specifications, the tree has an overall 24 ft. length x 18 ft. width.
We built a wood base structure to “house” the tree trunks. The center trunks are secured in a low level of concrete, and the outer trunks are set in low PVC pipes secured in the potting, color–tagged for removal, and then re-inserted at the job. The pipes were site. This method of construction worked great for easy off-loading and staging the tree.
This magnificent artificial Mediterranean Olive Tree is enjoyed on the ground level, creating a park-like setting around the bar area. In addition, the view from the mezzanine level offers an entirely different perspective of this immense tree.
