The owners of Cork Dork worked with Make Be-Leaves to create a custom artificial Mediterranean olive tree that would anchor the restaurant’s main dining space and set the tone for the entire interior.
With an expansive 12-foot width, the design required a thoughtful, site-specific approach. To accommodate access and installation, the tree was engineered to be partially unpotted during delivery, allowing the fully assembled structure to be brought in efficiently. Once in place, the outer trunks were carefully reinserted and secured on site, restoring the tree’s full form without compromising scale or realism.
The result is a dramatic olive tree that feels both architectural and organic—an immersive focal point that delivers the warmth, texture, and Mediterranean character the owners envisioned, while integrating seamlessly into the dining experience.
